Before that Stephan fleming was the individual highest run scorer against South Africa in WC that is 134 runs. Rahena played very nice and he scored very fast. He scored 79 from 60 balls (8 fours and 3sixes). Though kholi can’t score well last match he got average runs 46 from 60 balls. Unexpectedly parnell gave 72 for just 9 overs.

Even though Indians played well South Africans bowling attack and fielding was very good especially Ab de Villers he made two run outs. South African seamers especially Dale Styen and Morne Morkel using their experience and skills again and again they attack by using bounce and fast very well, but Indians played very well.
In South Africans innings they can’t play against Indian seam and spin attack and fielding too. Ab de Villers and David Miller run out was one of the biggest turning points in South Africans innings. Finally they all are out for 177 from 40.3 overs.

The attendance in the Melbourne stadium was totally 86,798.In that Indians attendance was 76,468.The stadium was fully covered by blue colour.
Mike Hussy said that India will surrender to RSA but there was big change. Finally India won by 130runs.It was the biggest winning against RSA before that Australia won by 83 runs biggest winning against RSA. India made history against South Africa in world cup. It was their first winning against RSA.
