Michael Clarke’s Injury may cause trouble in ICC Cricket World cup 2015

Even though the squad for Australia for the cricket world cuphad been announced and Michael Clarkhad been announced as the captain for the squad, a hinder occurs for his succession because of his Hamstring Injury.

Though selected to lead the team, Clark had been given limitation on basis of his injury. If Clark does not fully recover before the league game of Australia against Bangladesh he will be most probably replaced by Shaun Marsh and George Bailey will be selected to lead the team as captain.

Rod Marsh, Chairman of Selection Panel said that “Our medical staffs are pleased with his progress following hamstring in December and he continues to undergo thorough rehabilitation work with a view to being ready to play an important role in the world cup.

We have said that if Michael has not recovered by our second match of the tournament against Bangladesh on 21 February, we will replace him in the squad. He understands that and is working tirelessly with medical staff to get back to fitness.”
